Promoting Maternal And Newborn Health Through Disseminating Research In Africa
The African Journal of Perinatology (AJP) is a scientific journal that aims to provide updates on science and knowledge to service providers working in the field of perinatal/neonatal medicine in low and medium resource areas. Africa. The ultimate objective is to share relevant and key information from science and research that can be translated into curative, preventive or promotional individual care and public health; this is to improve maternal/fetal and neonatal care to boost the survival and quality of life of mothers and their newborns.
We publish articles after critical review including: original work, brief communications, narrative and systematic reviews, clinical cases, letters to the editor and editorials. Articles published in African Journal of Perinatology cover the full range of issues: clinical, professional, political, advocacy, educational. In addition, the journal promotes the dissemination of successful interventions for the purposes of outsourcing, particularly in neonatal techniques and technologies. Manuscripts can be submitted in English or French. The African Journal of Perinatology is the official journal of the Cameroonian Society of Perinatal Medicine and the Associated Scientific Societies of Cameroon and Africa.
